Run 002-03

4km in 32 minutes. Went up to 8.5km/h. Because of that, the run didn't last very long. Furthermore, I'll be going for 3 hours of back-to-back classes tomorrow.

Run 002-02

Manage to only do 2km before body pump. Finished in 17 minutes.

I'm actually blogging this a few days later. Preparation was supposedly for the kubur run. But on Sunday, I couldn't wake up so ended up having a 5 hours breakfast with Lauren and Vern instead :)

Not bad I would say. Was at 8.1 km/h for quite some time. And warmed up using the treadmill only...so if I have warmed up using the stretcher before hand, I'm sure I could have finished it in a shorter time :)

Since this is my first marathon, obviously I didn't have any expectation whatsoever.
I will leave as a happy participant as long as I am able to complete the run. Although a water station as promised would make me a lil bit happier in the process of completing that 10km.

Anyway, it was pretty hard in the middle cause there were HILLS! Yes, the last one was so steep I had problem trying to even walk up. The weather and the view at the beginning of the run were pretty nice though :)

However, after reading about the run from a blog of a seasoned runner, I just realised that my first marathon was pretty shity due to the lack of the water station and safety measures. Now I can't wait for the next run to see how a real one should be like. Heard that some will provide breakfast at the end of the run. Now that is some good motivation!

Run 001-08

Treadmill. 1 hour 22 minutes for 10km.
Die die also must finish 10km today cause the run will be on Sunday. Ended up being late for jam class. The last 3 km was horrible by the way. And this guy beside me kept peeping at my screen *flexes muscle*

Run 001-07

MPSJ track. After picking up my sister and cousin from school, we headed to MPSJ track. So jam! At the end only managed to run for 15 minutes cause it was getting so dark! 2 km…16 minutes btw.

Run 001-06

6.67km in 1 hour
Treadmill. First 5 minutes of slow walking. Although it took 34 minutes (this being forced too) to reach 4km, slightly slower than the previous keep-running-style, I realised that I wasn’t as pancit as before. BUT BUT BUT my mission to do 8-9 km tak jadi today! Cause at about 40th minute, a friend came over to chat! Obviously had to slow down cause I didn’t have the stamina to chat and run at the same time. This 19 year old leng chai (read: small kid cause I’m like 3 years older wtf) looked really comfy leaning on the neighbouring treadmill and wasn’t showing any sign of moving away even after a whole 20 minutes. So I was like, “OK, enough for today cause it’s not like I’m doing anything productive.” Hence, the short distance in 1 hour boo. On the brighter side, he made it seemed like it was only 30 minutes cause I wasn’t busy looking at the digital clock passing by oh-so-slowly.
